On 27 December 2024, Mikhail Gubsky will take part in The Novaya Opera Theater’s new version of the opera “Les Noces” by Igor Stravinsky. The performance is dedicated to the centenary of the ballet’s first production in Paris in 1923. The expansion of dramaturgy formed the basis of the musical concept of composer Nikolai Popov who framed the 25-minute score by Stravinsky with prologue and epilogue. The performance will be musically guided by Maestro Dmirty Volosnikov with the choreography of Pavel Glukhov.
